The Story: Our client came to us initially asking to transform their primary bathroom to a rustic 'country' oasis. There was a desire to focus on warm browns, but also included light & organic features that could relax and soothe. As a family of wrestlers, a key request was for a steam shower. They wanted a place of delight and healing, that one could retreat to after hours of rolling on a mat. Working in cohorts with the clients, we adjusted the layout so that not only you could feel like you were entering a homey, inviting bathroom, but also stepping into an almost magical experience that constituted the shower/ steam system. To heighten the experience of the shower, a beautiful Fusion quartzite slab from Brazil was installed at the shower floor, the shower bench, and waterfalled to connect with the vanity counter.
